Chairman and Chief Executive Officer
Dr Graham March is a pharmacist with more than 40 years' experience gained at major pharmaceutical companies and in the NHS. He has particular expertise in the formulation of tablets, oral liquids and injections and in quality control. Prior to founding Special Products, Dr March was a research pharmacist at Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children, where he developed a number of unlicensed medicines for rare inherited disorders. Earlier in his career, Dr March worked at AstraZeneca, where he had responsibility for the launch of several new products in the UK, after which he was appointed to a number of roles at the Oxford Regional Health Authority.

Theresa Wallis has an outstanding knowledge of the UK corporate landscape having worked for the London Stock Exchange for more than 12 years in roles including Chief Operating Officer of the AIM market. She currently advises a number of companies in non-executive and consultancy capacities. Theresa Wallis has a particular interest in the commercialisation of technology and worked for five years at Angle plc evaluating and advising early stage companies. She is currently non-executive chairman of LiDCO Group plc, a medical technology company, and is a non-executive director of the Quoted Companies Alliance.

Jason Saiban is a partner at leading City law firm Charles Russell LLP. Jason specialises in commercial contracts and large scale projects and advises clients in a broad range of sectors from sports to charities. He has particular expertise in areas relevant to Special Products including healthcare, technology, distribution, licensing, procurement and outsourcing.

Paul Maddock is a pharmaceutical executive with more than 20 years' industry experience, much of which was gained at the international pharmaceutical group Roche. Mr Maddock's focus was in sales and marketing at Roche, where he held a range of management positions across therapeutic areas. For eight years he was head of primary care sales at Roche Products, leading a substantial sales division and gaining a thorough understanding of the NHS and other healthcare funding mechanisms. Latterly he operated as Market Development Leader for the launch of a major international brand. Mr Maddock gained an MBA whilst at Roche.

Ken Herbert is a product development specialist with over 25 years’ experience in both prescription and over-the-counter medicines gained at a wide range of companies including Smith & Nephew, SmithKline Beecham and Sandoz. He has also worked at smaller companies including a recent role as Director of Technical and Regulatory Services at Custom Pharmaceuticals, a UK-based contract manufacturer. An industrial chemist by training, he has an extensive track record in formulation and in regulatory processes.
Special Products has a board of five executive directors and two non-executive directors.
