Special Products Overview

Special Products is focussed on the development and distribution of special medicinal products (or "specials"), the term used to describe unlicensed medicines requested by doctors, dentists or supplementary prescribers to meet the special needs of individual patients.

Our "specials" are based on existing, authorised medicines, which are often already licensed in frequently occurring medical conditions. We use our proprietary drug delivery technologies to reformulate these existing medicines to create bespoke products to address the unmet medical needs of patients (including paediatric patients) with niche diseases.

We also in-license products from other companies.

We use trusted contract manufacturing partners to manufacture our medicines, which we distribute in the UK and overseas either directly or via distribution partners. We are committed to the highest quality standards in our business, and to operating within the Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA) regulatory framework.

Special Products, which is part of March Medical Group, is based in Weybridge, Surrey, and employs around 40 people.
