Dr Graham March PhD, MRPharmS, QP

Graham March is a registered pharmacist with over 40 years' experience in the profession. This includes the formulation of tablets, oral liquids and injections for Merck, Sharp and Dohme. Whilst with Astra Zeneca, he had overall responsibility for coordinating the launch of several new products in the UK, including formulation approval, scale-up trials, supervision of the first three full-scale batches, package design, and sales force training.

Hospital experience included 8 years as the Oxford Quality Controller at regional level, and 1 year as the acting Regional Pharmaceutical Officer for the former Oxford Regional Health Authority. Amongst the tasks undertaken were submissions for capital expenditure, and, upon approval, the design of a new pharmacy, a sterile manufacturing unit and two non-sterile manufacturing units.

Joe Braitch joined Special Products in June 2005 to assist Dr Graham March with the expansion of the company. His role is to manage a growing team of healthcare staff and to implement new systems and technology to handle the dramatic growth in sales from the highly successful in-house developed pharmaceutical products.

His training as a Chartered Engineer and tenure as Production Manager for Johnson Matthey and Mars is complemented by a successful career selling business solutions for IBM for 5 years before running IT companies for 20 years. This was followed by 3 years building and managing accountancy practices, and 3 years acting as a Business Development Consultant for various SME enterprises in the IT, insurance and accountancy arenas.
